color of the history

An audiovisual installation exploring the evolution of colour throughout the history of painting. A custom GLSL shader continuously transforms and reinterprets images spanning from prehistoric and early religious art to contemporary painting, revealing hidden relationships between historical colour palettes. The visual process is accompanied by a generative sound composition created in Max/MSP, producing a continuously evolving dialogue between image, colour, and sound.
