VR performance — State Theatre of Nations, Moscow, 2019
Concept design, video production, and post-production for the State Theatre of Nations. A VR performance directed by Mikhail Patlasov. Moscow, Russia, 2019.
A documentary theatre production that reconstructs the events surrounding the execution of Nicholas II and his family in Yekaterinburg in July 1918, drawing solely on historically verified evidence.
Developed over nearly two years of archival research, the piece grew out of close work with historians, archivists, and forensic investigators. Together they studied thousands of documents held in Russian archives and museums, reconstructing the events as precisely as the surviving record allows.
